Construction Contest at Shower

So these are just a few of the construction site contest, they were judged on creativity obviously. It was great to see just what people were making. They could only use play-doh and things that were at the tables. Everyone done a GREAT job! Pierce table love it, that would be how Noah was made:) Commercial Sewing Table Alexis you did a great job even when people were steeling your erasers! BAD Dee!

We had a hard time, picking so we had to do first and second prizes. Everyone did a great job participating.

Under Construction Baby Shower Sept.18th 2010

Our entrance photo to Noah's baby shower. Thank you for all that attended and made this a memorable event for our new family. We are so blessed to have such amazing people in our lives. A special thank you Janice Ellis (grandma Ellis), Great Auntie Carolyn and Auntie Tiffany who made the shower so special for our son Noah Michael Harvey. Noah is blessed as well to have so much love in his life.

3d/4d Ultra Sound

One of the most amazing things Craig and I got to experience together. We were able to see our son up close and in action. We would sit on the couch at night and wonder what he was doing in there. We have ourselves an active little man. Its amazing just how they move inside you. We decided that we wanted to get the 3d/4d US down, becuase we saw a close friends of ours and thought it was the coolest thing ever. I have to say that in the beginning Noah was not be cooperative, but by the end of the session he was posing for the camera like no other, but at first he was hiding his preciouse little face.

It looks like he will be taking after the Harvey genes, he has the Harvey nose, like his daddy, and maybe his daddy's hands. He has my leave me alone kind of shy attitude when the camera is on him. I just love the one where he is rubbing his eyes, just like his mommy, I just want to reach in and comfort him.

31/32 weeks

A side profile at 31/32 weeks. Just that much closer to D-day. I can not wait. We still have a lot to prepare for Noah's arrival, but for the most part we are getting there slowly but surely.

25/26 weeks (august)

A little behind on the uploads, wish I still looked like this. This was a much easier month for me. This is the ending of my 25th week beginning of 26th. I feel that my stomach has just gotten huge and I could pop any day. This month we also had our 3d/4d Ultra sound done. I will be posting a few photos from our session.

Three of my most favorite people I cherish in my life. I am lucky to have such a wonderful sister and nephews. Jacob, the ham of the family (takes after his mom) my beautiful sister Cindy and precious nephew Asa. How he is turning into such a young man.

Trip to So. Cal to visit friends, my sister, nieces and nephews

While out in CA we made a trip to Hollywood Ca. You have Lindsay and I with Shrek and then my 2 beautiful nieces Morgan and Maddison and our lovely Megan

One of the first stops that we always have to make is the In-N-Out one of my favorites, and another favorite is Jamba Juice which we stopped at as well. I swear this was all Noah asking me for it:)

Its been a LONG while since we have updated our blog

I know that I am a little behind, but as most of you know there has been a lot going on in the Harvey household between getting ready for our little man and house renovations (#4) might I add. We own a 3 family home and have turned in into a 2 family we have taken over the whole down stairs to make room for our addition to our family. I will now have a bigger kitchen and a dining area, sitting room for study and eventually it will be Noah's playroom.

Now that I have been pulled out of work due to the swelling in my feet, ankles and legs I do not have an excuse of why I can not update our blog. I will try to keep things in order as the months have gone by.

Gordon and Cathy's Farewell

As most of you may know, Gordon and Cathy will be starting a new journey in their lives. Gordon has been relocated to New Mexico, and "O" how they will be missed by many. These are just a few a the pictures captured through out the evening. At least we will have an excuse to travel and see them. Thank you for all that were able to come and celebrate with us. 21 weeks we are half way there!

June 17th we found out we are having a little (big) boy:) Noah Michael Harvey. Mommy and baby are progressing well and healthy. We have made our half way mark. Ultra sound pictures to follow. Things have been a little crazy in the Harvey household. Have not had a lot of time to blog. Baby Noah and mommy will be taking our first plane ride to So. California, Friday July 2nd to go visit Auntie CoCo and Megs. And cousins Asa, Jacob, Haily, Alyssa, Morgan and Madison. They want to play with cousin Noah, but he is still growing in the tummy and will come out to play shortly.

Baby furniture!

Today Craig and I went browsing for baby furniture for the nursery, with the intention of just looking, we did that then some! We ended up in Berlin, CT at USA BABY and ordered the nursery furniture, and thank goodness that we did, because it will not be in until the end of August. My goal is start the preparations of the nursery in September, so just in the nick of time. Pictures to follow.....once we get things in motion. We have a lot of new and expanding renovations going on at the Harvey household to make room for baby Harvey.

16 weeks and counting!

We just went for another monthly check up a couple weeks ago hoping they would do and ultra sound to tell us the gender, but we were not so lucky. We have to wait until June 17th to find out the gender of baby Harvey. The check-up went well, we got to hear the heart beat (only one) to doctor says we have an active one in there:) I wonder where it gets that from.....hhmmmmmm DADDY! my blood pressure did go down, so they were happy about that, me too! A lot has happened in the past couple of weeks. Craig and I have made the appointment for the 3d/4d Ultra Sound, it will be August 13,2010. We will be able to see its every move and detail from smiling, blinking ect. we are very excited for this appointment. Don't worry Mema, you will be getting your own personal keepsake DVD of the images. Sorry that you will not be able to make it for the appointment, but I am looking forward to you being here for the arrival in November! ( I know mommy needs her momma!)

12 weeks, end of the first trimester

Baby bump @ 12 weeks and only getting bigger....... the morning sickness is starting to taper off a little, I still have a few episodes of not feeling well but I can not complain. Craig and I are still not convinced that there is only one in the tummy, stay tuned we will know more on Tuesday May 11th and hopefully be able to tell the sex as well if not for sure in June. We are just hoping for happy and healthy but in my heart I really want a baby girl but shhhhhhhh. I want my little girl to have a relationship with her father and experience the things in life I was not able to. Is that selfish of me? I also want to know when my belly will look more like a pregnant belly and not just a gut..........

People have been asking for some prego pictures........I can say that I feel a bit big! This is just at 8 weeks and counting........ I have not posted anything as we were waiting on our 12 week visit and the go ahead from the DR. I have good and bad days with morning, day or night sickness.........it has a mind of its own that is for sure. At the beginning I craved nothing but pizza, banana's apples and peanut butter when I felt like eating. Most of my diet has consisted of ginger ale and saltine crackers

So on this day..........February 27th confirmed March 4th

Craig and I both are very much excited to announce that we are pregnant. It was a rough and long beginning. We suspected I was pregnant, but had taken a few tests that kept coming up negative. I was not convinced that it was correct. We finally took one last one Saturday February 27th and it was a big + (positive) I had taken 2 at that point to just make sure. March 4th it was confirmed that we are expecting our first little bundle of joy November 2010.

Honeymoon 2010

Just a few photos from our honeymoon in February. We took a cruise to the eastern caribbean and also spent a few days in Florida with Craigs brother Mick and wife Caley. It was nice to get away while it was miserable here in CT.
